Recommended Plans/Tips!

I know there are many plans to pick from, sometimes an overwhelming choice of plans whether at this site or others.  Let me mention some of my favorites and some that are very popular with my clients (feel free to call me at 1-800-633-7303 to discuss as well).

For Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, a very popular new co-pay type plan is the PremierIf this plan is too expensive, you may want to look at the Blue Access Value Plan.  If you favor Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield and want to see and quote all their plans and not be distracted by quotes from other companies, then just .  This will take you to my web page devoted exclusively to them.

For Humana, an extremely popular plan which is fantastic is the Portrait Share 80 Plus Rx Unlimited Plan.  It is super so please look at this plan.  Also, for Humana, you can apply directly from this web site by clicking on the apply link after you get a quote.  However, if you want to "talk" your application, you can just call the Humana application hotline at 1-800-552-0758, option #2.  All you will need is your agent name, which is Kurt Turner and the name of the plan you want to apply for and they will ask you the health questions over the phone.  It is a very easy process and they are open most nights till 9:00 p.m.

If you need Maternity Coverage, then I suggest you call me at 1-800-633-7303.  This needs just a bit of personal discussion.

If you need a Child or Children Only policy, then I also suggest you call me at 1-800-633-7303.  I do a large number of these plans and I have some specific advice that will be very helpful and time saving.

If you need Short Term Medical Insurance (for 30-365 days) for people who are:

  • Between jobs or laid off
  • Looking for lower cost alternative to COBRA
  • Recent college graduates
  • Waiting for employer-sponsored coverage

then  .  Remember, Short Term Medical Plans do not cover pre-existing conditions.  Personally, I think their best use is when you have no pre-existing conditions and are waiting for your new health plan to start for your new job.  Many times when you start a new job, they make you wait 30 to 90 days before you can be added to the group health insurance plan.

Heard of Health Savings Accounts?  If you have an interest in these or want more information, then just give me a call at 1-800-633-7303.  I can easily explain them to you and see if they might be a fit.

Again, many people find a plan all by themselves on this site and apply with no agent assistance whatsoever.  However, remember, it does not cost more to have an agent and my advice and assistance is free.  I'd be glad to answer questions, explain the application process, discuss specific health conditions, just anything to assist you.  I'm here to help!

Thank you! Kurt Turner
